Little Big Town Extend Pain Killer Tour

Little Big Town’s Pain Killer Tour will now stretch all the way to Thanksgiving, thanks to a newly-added fall leg that kicks off October 8th and runs through the end of November.
Already six months underway, the headlining tour has hit more than 50 cities since its kickoff show in Youngstown, Ohio, last November. Since then, both of the album’s singles have climbed toward the upper reaches of the country charts, with “Day Drinking” peaking at Number Two last December and “Girl Crush” — the surprisingly controversial track written by Lori McKenna, Hillary Lindsey and Liz Rose — currently holding down the top slot.
David Nail and Ashley Monroe have both been tapped as opening acts for the band’s summertime tour, although openers for the fall leg have yet to be announced. Meanwhile, Little Big Town will perform at this weekend’s NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race in Charlotte before laying low until mid-June, when the quartet kicks off another leg of the Painkiller Tour with an appearance at the CMA Music Festival.
