Earlier this summer, Kelsea Ballerini let the cat out of the bag: she’d be hitting the road on her inaugural headlining tour. The “Peter Pan” singer confirmed the trek this week, announcing the First Time Tour. Kicking off in October, the run includes 11 dates scattered over three months, wrapping up with a pair of shows in Las Vegas with special guest Cam. Ballerini, who co-hosted ABC’s nostalgic music series Greatest Hits, is currently on tour with Rascal Flatts.
Ballerini’s announcement is just the latest in country tour news. David Nail, who released his album Fighter last month, launches his fall trek in September in Wisconsin, while Kane Brown begins his Ain’t No Stopping Us Now Tour in November. The Internet-born Brown, who recently signed with Sony Music Nashville, is cutting his teeth on the road this summer with Florida Georgia Line.

But it’s not just country’s new crop of artists generating tour excitement. Country Music Hall of Fame members the Oak Ridge Boys, road warriors since their Y’all Come Back Saloon album in 1977, will stage their annual holiday trek. The Christmas Celebration Tour begins in November in Branson, Missouri, and runs all the way up to December 22nd.
