Grammy nominees Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood have been tapped to perform at the 59th Grammy Awards.
The country singers, who recently toured Australia together, re-creating their collaboration “The Fighter” live onstage, join a diverse Grammy performance lineup that includes the Weeknd, Metallica and John Legend. More artists will be announced at a later date.
Urban and Underwood are also Grammy nominees. Underwood is up for Best Country Solo Performance for her song “Church Bells,” while Urban competes in three categories: Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance (“Blue Ain’t Your Color”), and Best Country Album (Ripcord).
Maren Morris is the leading country nominee with four, including a nomination in the all-genre Best New Artist race, along with Kelsea Ballerini. Sturgill Simpson’s A Sailor’s Guide to Earth is nominated for Album of the Year.
The Grammys, hosted by James Corden, air February 12th on CBS.
