Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit and Father John Misty have announced their first co-headlining tour. The two songwriters will play 18 shows together in the month of June, with U.K. artist Jade Bird opening the bulk of the dates. Nashville’s Erin Rae opens the final three shows.
Launching June 5th in San Diego, the tour hits Berkeley, California’s Greek Theatre, Detroit’s Fox Theatre and Philadelphia’s recently refurbished Metropolitan Opera House before wrapping up in Tulsa at the BOK Center.
Misty’s last release was 2018’s God’s Favorite Customer, while Isbell unveiled a live document of his Ryman Auditorium shows titled Live From the Ryman in October. Both popular festival draws, Misty will play a string of festivals overseas in August. Isbell, meanwhile, was just announced as the headliner of September’s Moon River Festival in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Currently aboard the annual Cayamo Cruise, he’ll also join John Prine at the All the Best Fest in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, next November.
General on-sale tickets will be available February 15th at 10:00 am.
