Hunter Hayes Gets Inked in New Video
Hunter Hayes recently gave Rolling Stone Country a peek behind the scenes at the filming of his new music video for “Tattoo.” This week, Hayes released the finished product, which features the singer-guitarist rocking out in front of an enormous boombox and charming a female costar.

“Being told to flirt on cue… not awkward at all!” Hayes joked to Rolling Stone Country. Though filmed inside a vacant warehouse, the video’s production was beset by rain. Fortunately, the downpour ceased in time for a key scene.
“It was really awesome when it stopped raining and the sun came out,” Hayes said, “as the light you see in the background in front of the boombox was from the windows above in the old warehouse.”
Hayes had to play a specifically plain Fender Stratocaster in the video, so graphic designers could work their magic after the shoot. “You’ll see what I mean [when you see the video],” he teased.
