Former American Idol champ Trent Harmon has released a passionate new country single titled “You Got ‘Em All,” the first taste of his upcoming full-length album debut.
Co-written by the Mississippi native with Justin Ebach and Jordan Minton, the breakup ballad was inspired by what Harmon describes as a “tough year” and finds him picking up the pieces of a broken heart. Delicate piano and Harmon’s crystalline vocals swell into a slick, bright production led by Jimmy Robbins and Big Machine Records president Scott Borchetta.
Borchetta served as a mentor on the final season of the original American Idol in 2015, which Harmon won. The show has now been rebooted by ABC with Luke Bryan on the judges’ panel. Harmon released his self-titled EP in 2016 and a debut single titled “There’s a Girl,” which cracked the Top 20 at country radio. “You Got ‘Em All” will arrive at radio March 19th, and Harmon is currently touring with a small assortment of dates scheduled through March 18th in Wilmington, Delaware.
