Hear Lady Antebellum’s Funky New Song ‘You Look Good’

Trio returns from hiatus with plans for new album ‘Heart Break,’ world tour

Lady Antebellum made waves this morning when they announced their return with a new album called Heart Break and shared its soulful first single “You Look Good.” Watch a lyric video for the new song above.

Written by Hillary Lindsey, Ryan Hurd and busbee, “You Look Good” is a funky, grooving song unlike any released to date by Lady Antebellum, complete with a prominent horn section and busbee’s production. The lyric video for the track shows the band goofing off with a Polaroid camera and recording new music in the studio.

They also announced a June 9th release date for Heart Break, their sixth studio album and the follow-up to their 2014 album 747. The trio have been on hiatus since the fall of 2015, taking time off for solo projects like Hillary Scott’s Christian album Love Remains and Charles Kelley’s solo album The Driver. Dave Haywood spent his time off working on his production chops.

While on hiatus, they occasionally joined forces for live performances, like an appearance at the 2016 CMA Music Festival, where they hinted that new music was in the works.

Later this year, Lady A will hit the road in support of Heart Break. The 65-show You Look Good World Tour kicks off on May 26th in Bakersfield, California and will hit six countries. Kelsea Ballerini and Brett Young will join the trio for the trek.

“You Look Good” is now available at country radio and on digital download and streaming services. Fans can hear more new music from Lady Antebellum via Facebook Live on their Facebook page at 8 p.m. CT tonight.
