Hear Kip Moore’s Hopeful New Song ‘More Girls Like You’

Singer-songwriter longs for domestic bliss in track from forthcoming third album

Saddling romance and a bit of faith to an easy gallop of a rhythm, Kip Moore sings of domestic bliss in his new song “More Girls Like You.” Comparing himself to wild mustang who’s finally ready to settle down, Moore applies his intense, sandpaper vocals to a production highlighted by ringing, optimistic guitars. Moore co-wrote the song with Steven Olsen, Josh Miller and David Garcia, saying that even as a proud bachelor, he looks forward to one day starting his own family – a subject he also covered in his hit “Hey Pretty Girl.”

“I’ve never been that guy looking for a relationship, and solitude has never scared me,” he says on his website. “I’ve never bought into the societal pressure of following the A, B and C steps of life, but I still look forward to the family chapter. This song is about meeting that someone you find so amazing inside and out, that you can only pray the kids you have together are just as amazing as she is. That’s the kind of woman I hope to end up with.”

“More Girls Like You” is the first single from Moore’s upcoming third full-length album. Moore produced much of the project himself, hinting that it will be more stylistically diverse than his soulful second album Wild Ones and breakout debut Up All Night. The album’s title and release date have not been announced.

After taking some much needed time away from the road, Moore returns to touring this spring with a March 3rd show at the Florida Strawberry Festival in Plant City, Florida.
