Florida Georgia Line Dish ‘Dirt’ on ‘The Tonight Show’

“You know you came from it, and someday you’ll return to it,” Florida Georgia Line sing in what is a colossal departure from their previous radio releases.

“Dirt” is arguably the country duo’s most sentimental — and definitely the most traditional — song to date. It connects dirt with everything from birth to death to falling in love, and does so with more steel guitar and less production than the typical FGL song. Watch the duo’s Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley perform the song for the first time on television in the above clip from the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Inspired by the lines in their new song about planting roots, FGL have launched a “Dirt Campaign,” with the goal of raising $100,000 for Habitat for Humanity.
“To be able to be in the position we’re in and be so blessed over the last couple of years doing what we love is very rewarding,” Kelley tells People, “and we’ve always said we want to be bigger than the music and give back.”
