Drake White Plots Headlining Spark Tour

Rootsy singer-songwriter known for his tent-revival live shows will hit the road in February

Drake White will launch his headlining Spark Tour in 2017. Backed by his band the Big Fire, White will play 17 cities on the trek. The run kicks off in Bangor, Maine, on February 4th and hits New York City, Boston and Nashville before wrapping up in California.

White, who released his major-label debut album Spark in August, has developed a reputation for raucous, tent-revival live shows.

“We’re trying to create moments, opportunities for people to come out and forget about their worries. . . and enjoy music, enjoy art for a night,” he told Rolling Stone Country earlier this year. “Being in that moment is my favorite place to be on earth, in front of people and sharing experiences.”

White’s new single “Makin’ Me Look Good Again,” a love letter to his wife, follows up the optimistic anthem “Livin’ the Dream.”
