Dierks Bentley is heading overseas next spring, following up two previous European tours, with dates in Dublin, London, Manchester and Glasgow in April. Bentley’s Riser LP, his seventh studio album, has scored three consecutive Number One hits at country radio with “I Hold On,” “Drunk on a Plane” and “Say You Do.” The title track is currently climbing the charts.
“We’ve been coming to Europe and slowly building a fan base since 2006, but it feels like something has really clicked recently,” Bentley says in a statement. “The volume and size of the crowd last year really blew my band and I away and we’ve been talking about coming back ever since we walked offstage.”
Earlier this fall, Bentley’s Miles and Music for Kids event, which benefits Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, marked its 10th anniversary with a concert that raised more than $600,000.
“It’s really good to go over there and see how lucky you are to have healthy kids, and if you didn’t, this is where you’d want them to be,” Bentley said prior to the concert. “They have the best staff, the best doctors, they make it feel like home even though it’s a hospital.”
Here are Bentley’s European dates:
April 21 – Dublin, Ireland @ Olympia Theater
April 22 – London, England @ Eventim Apollo
April 23 – Manchester, England @ O2 Apollo
April 24 – Glasgow, Scotland @ Clyde Auditorium
