A faux commercial complete with stentorian voiceover — “You’ve heard the hits, you’ve seen the spectacle…” — the clip features Bentley in a feathery and flamboyant outfit as it announces the Burning Man Tour…on Ice. The singer skates backward, shoots finger guns and blows air kisses as he wryly mugs for the camera. Bentley also enlists tourmates Tenille Townes and Jon Pardi for the video, with Pardi going for laughs in fringe and a cowboy hat while gawkily moving about the ice.
Bentley released the video with help from Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon, who called the singer “skating’s newest star” on Twitter. “Love to see you out at one of our shows,” Bentley replied. “I’ll pack my skates, feathers and lace.”
Studied a lot of your routines…and watched a lot of Blades of Glory! Ha. Love to see you out at one of our shows. I’ll pack my my skates, feathers and lace in case you want a have skate-off. Thanks Adam! https://t.co/j84y7RIoJ4

The Burning Man Tour kicks off January 17th with a string of shows in Canada, before arriving in the U.S. in February. Bentley will perform a Nashville date on February 22nd at Bridgestone Arena.
Bentley isn’t the only Nashville singer to lace up his skates for a video: Americana songwriter Ruston Kelly, a onetime competitive skater, hit the ice in the video for his song “Son of a Highway Daughter.”
