Craig Morgan, Mac Powell Team for Patriotic Tour: The Ram Report
Craig Morgan and Third Day lead singer Mac Powell will hit the road together this fall for a series of shows dubbed the “American Stories concert experience.” Set in more intimate venues than the two normally play, the trek will feature acoustic performances and stories behind the songs.
In addition to their long lists of respective hits, the two are bound to share the stage for “Hearts I Leave Behind,” their duet on Morgan’s latest album, A Whole Lot More to Me. The singers will also invite military heroes, Veterans and other guests on stage to help them with the storytelling part of the night. Their goal is to spread patriotism, as they’ll talk about reasons they’re proud to be Americans.
“Country music is all about storytelling and that’s the idea behind these shows,” says Morgan. “Me and Mac and some of our friends will share the songs and stories that move us and inspire us as Americans all while we celebrate the values of this great nation we call home.”
Morgan himself is an Army Veteran. He spent 10 years in active duty and seven years in the Reserves. The Tennessee native has been very active over the years in USO Tours and in various efforts to support our troops.
