Chris Stapleton, Luke Bryan, Darius Rucker Headline Watershed Festival

Three-day music-and-camping gathering set for July 28th weekend at the Gorge in Washington state

Country music isn’t lacking for festivals, but a select few consistently find a way to distinguish themselves in a crowded field. One of the most picturesque, the Watershed Music and Camping Festival, held at the Gorge Amphitheater in Washington State, has announced its 2017 headliners. Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton and Darius Rucker will all perform above the Columbia River at the festival, held July 28th through 30th.

The contemporary country lineup also includes Old Dominion, Randy Houser, Lauren Alaina, Lee Brice, Maddie & Tae, Eric Paslay, William Michael Morgan, the Cadillac Three, Chase Rice, High Valley and newcomer Bailey Bryan.

Tickets for Watershed 2017 go on sale February 15th at the festival website. The complete lineup, including a second stage, will be announced soon.

Stapleton is gearing up for a new album (he debuted the song “Broken Halos” at Dolly Parton’s Tennessee wildfire benefit in December), while Bryan will embark on a massive summer tour in May. The Kill the Lights singer received praise for his performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner” at Super Bowl 51. Rucker, meanwhile, is working his single “If I Told You,” and collaborated with steel player Robert Randolph on Randolph’s “Love Do What It Do.” He’s currently in the studio with Ross Copperman, recording his fifth country album for Capitol, and will make a guest appearance on CBS’s Hawaii Five-0.
