In conjunction with every Academy of Country Music Awards, numerous country artists sign on to perform at the ACM Party for a Cause, taking place in the days surrounding the annual awards event in Las Vegas. This year’s event, taking place March 30th to April 2nd, will feature performances from Chris Stapleton, Kelsea Ballerini, Lady Antebellum and many others.
Now in its fifth year, the Party for a Cause will offer a mix of industry and fan events at numerous venues in Las Vegas, including the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, such as the ACM Pool Party for a Cause and the Songwriter Showcase. Additional performers during the week include Billy Currington, Ryan Follese, LoCash, Kip Moore, Jake Owen, Michael Tyler, Clay Walker and Brett Young. Events during the week benefit ACM Lifting Lives, which gives to a number of music-related charitable initiatives. The 2016 Party for the Cause featured performances by Sam Hunt, Carrie Underwood, Dustin Lynch and more.
Performers and nominees have not been announced for the 52nd ACM Awards, which will be held for the first time in Las Vegas’ new T-Mobile Arena. The sports and entertainment venue opened in April 2016 and has hosted Guns ‘N’ Roses, George Strait, Billy Joel and the Billboard Music Awards, among others.
The show will be broadcast live on Sunday, April 2nd, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
