Cam has spent this summer supporting Dierks Bentley on his headlining Somewhere on a Beach tour, named after his Number One single. Now she’s getting ready to step into the solo spotlight on the heels of her own hit, “Burning House.” The “Mayday” singer, whose album Untamed was released in late 2015, used a Facebook post to announce that she’s embarking on her first headlining trek.
Kicking off October 27th in Chicago, the Burning House tour stops in a dozen cities, wrapping up with a two-night stand in Las Vegas on December 9th and 10th. Other markets on the itinerary include Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Tulsa, Des Moines, Bloomington, Indiana, and Columbus, Ohio. Full dates appear below.
During Bentley’s Somewhere on a Beach Tour, Cam often joined the headliner and fellow support act Randy Houser for a rendition of the Eagles’ classic “Take It Easy.” The “Mayday” singer also recently sang with Eric Church at Denver’s picturesque Red Rocks Amphitheatre, performing an affecting, stripped-down version of Church’s “Like Jesus Does.”
In addition to the tour announcement, Cam’s week is shaping up to be a memorable one. She and “Burning House” are among possible contenders when the nominations for the 50th annual CMA Awards are announced Wednesday morning. Cam will join Keith Urban and Bentley to reveal the nominees during ABC’s Good Morning America from Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House.
