CMA Music Festival gets underway on Thursday in Nashville, with country fans from around the world flocking to Music City for four days of concerts, including the nightly centerpiece shows at the massive football stadium on the east bank of the Cumberland River.
Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Eric Church, Kenny Rogers and Darius Rucker are all set to perform at the evening concerts. Chris Stapleton was also scheduled for the big stage (performing Sunday night, June 11th), but an injury to the singer-guitarist’s right hand caused him to cancel the appearance.
To help fill the void, the CMA has announced three new acts for the stadium. Dustin Lynch plays Friday, Old Dominion have been added to Saturday and Brothers Osborne will perform on Sunday in Stapleton’s 9:30 p.m./CT slot. It’s a natural fit for singer TJ Osborne and guitarist John Osborne – the CMA’s Vocal Duo of the Year has been on tour with Stapleton on his All-American Road Show Tour.
CMA Music Festival runs from June 8th through June 11th.
