Brett Eldredge, Jake Owen Join Country Night Lights Lineup

Country Night Lights, the Athens, Ohio-based country music festival, has announced plans to return for a second year of existence. The festival will close out a packed summer of country festivals on September 23rd and 24th at the Venue of Athens, a 178-acre site that lives within two miles of Ohio University.
Headlining this year’s event will be Brett Eldredge and Jake Owen, with additional artists to be announced in the coming weeks. Performers at the inaugural Country Night Lights included Sam Hunt, Easton Corbin and Chase Bryant.
Eldredge recently nabbed his first Male Vocalist of the Year nomination from the Academy of Country Music, having scored hits in the past year with “Mean to Me” and “Lose My Mind.” His latest single is “Drunk on Your Love,” from the 2015 album Illinois. Owen’s most recent single “Real Life” was released in 2015 as the first offering from the follow-up to his fourth album Days of Gold. He recently revealed in a Facebook Q&A that his new single will be out in early March 2016.
Two-day general admission tickets start at $75 and are now on sale at countrynightlights.com. VIP, camping and RV passes are also available.
