Brantley Gilbert Reschedules European Tour Dates

In November, Brantley Gilbert postponed the remaining European dates of his Blackout Tour as a response to the deadly terrorist attacks that shook Paris on November 13th.
“Out of respect for the lives lost in yesterday’s terrorist attacks, we have decided to postpone the rest of our European dates,” he tweeted to his fans. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of France at this tragic time. We will be back.”
Gilbert will make good on that promise in May 5th, when he returns to the UK for shows in the four cities where he was originally slated to play. Among those are Glasgow, Scotland and the English cities of London, Manchester and Birmingham.
The Blackout Tour will officially re-launch on January 28th in Saginaw, Michigan, crisscrossing North America through the end of April. Gilbert will make one more overseas trip in the middle of the trek, when he heads to Queensland, Australia for the CMC Rocks festival on March 12th.
“Stone Cold Sober,” the fourth single from Gilbert’s album Just As I Am, is out now. The song’s video (watch below) was recently released and depicts Gilbert emerging from the messy aftermath of a raging party and singing in the rain. The action centers a different person at the same party who wakes with a phone number scrawled on his arm and has to piece together the night’s events, The Hangover-style, to soberly reaffirm his feelings for a lady he met the night before.
Rescheduled Blackout tour dates:
May 5 – Glasgow, Scotland @ Oran Mor
May 6 – Manchester, England @ Academy Two
May 7 – Birmingham, England @ 02 Institute 2
May 8 – London, England @ Shepherd’s Bush Empire
