Brad Paisley to Host ‘Wild West Comedy’ Showcase

For the second year in a row, Brad Paisley will host an evening of stand-up comedy routines when the Wild West Comedy Festival returns to Nashville on Monday, May 16th.
Paisley’s comedic chops have landed the singer cameos on Comedy Central’s South Park, as well as a long-running gig as co-host of the CMA Awards. He’s become an infamous prankster, too, known for for stints like stink-bombing Blake Shelton’s bus by replacing the contents of the car’s air freshener with diced raw chicken. He’ll bring those goofball antics to the Wild West Comedy Festival, where he’s scheduled to interact with a lineup of funnymen — Jon Reep, Mike E. Winfield and Sarah Tiana — at Zanies Comedy Club.
Founded by actor Vince Vaughan, the Wild West Comedy Festival is now in its third year, with a week’s worth of shows — featuring everyone from Chris Tucker and Kathy Griffin to Silicon Valley star T.J. Miller and Clerks duo Jay & Silent Bob — taking place across Nashville. Even the Ryman Auditorium, Nashville’s most revered home for country music, will get a piece of the action, thanks to a trio of headlining shows by Joe Rogan, Jeff Foxworthy and left-field YouTube sensation Miranda Sings.
Meanwhile, Paisley is one month away from kicking off a summer-long tour of amphitheaters and festival gigs, beginning with the Toyota Amphitheater in Sacramento on May 19th.
