Brad Paisley Comedy Special Coming to Netflix

‘Brad Paisley’s Comedy Rodeo’ to debut on August 15th

In 2015, Brad Paisley hosted a night of stand-up comedy in Nashville during the Wild West Comedy Festival. Clearly the experience scratched an itch for the witty singer-songwriter: he’ll debut his own Netflix comedy special in August.

Filmed during this year’s Wild West Comedy Festival at Music City club Zanies, Brad Paisley’s Comedy Rodeo assembles five stand-ups for their own sets, and also boasts cameos by David Hasselhoff and Reba McEntire. Paisley teased the special with help from Hasselhoff and the KITT car the actor drove in the TV hit Knight Rider in an online video. (Watch the clip below.)

Along with his appearances at the Wild West Comedy Festival, Paisley often mines humor in his own brand of clever songwriting, from equating love to a peril of the outdoors in “Ticks” to skewering social-media culture in the new “Selfie#Theinternetisforever.” In November, he’ll rejoin Carrie Underwood for monologues and skits as the hosts of the CMA Awards.
