Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani Plot 2016 Tours: The Ram Report
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani both announced their respective 2016 tours this week, with the pop icon’s trek kicking off July 12th and her country superstar boyfriend’s starting September 9th in his home state of Oklahoma. Both Voice coaches are gassing up their tour buses in promotion of new albums. Stefani’s This Is What the Truth Feels Like is her first solo LP in a decade — and her first to debut atop the Billboard 200 chart. Shelton’s If I’m Honest, featuring the hit single “Came Here to Forget,” hits stores May 20th.
“When people hear it, they are going to understand every emotion I’ve gone through in the last year,” Shelton tells Rolling Stone of his upcoming LP, “and that makes me feel really good.”
If I’m Honest includes a Shelton-Stefani duet called “Go Ahead and Break My Heart.” A close look at their tour schedules shows only one clashing date to keep them from performing it live all over the country together. (Wishful thinking. . .)
