Blake Shelton Exhibit to Open at Country Music Hall of Fame

While anticipation is running high for Blake Shelton’s next musical release, the multimedia star’s career will be honored with a new exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville.

Titled “Blake Shelton: Based on a True Story,” the exhibit opens May 27th and explores Shelton’s career with a variety of artifacts, including the western shirt from his “Some Beach” video and clothing he’s worn as a coach on NBC’s The Voice. Additionally, visitors will be able to see instruments, manuscripts and photos collected from different points in Shelton’s life.

“I came to Nashville in 1994, and I’ve always been fascinated by the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum,” said Shelton in a release. “I remember the first time I walked in there, I was blown away. To have my own exhibit is more than a dream come true, because I never dreamed it could happen! It’s crazy, is what it is. I couldn’t be more excited or more honored than to be a part of the museum.”

Shelton’s exhibit coincides with the end of Keith Urban’s career retrospective “Keith Urban So Far,” which opened November 20th. The Hall of Fame is also launching the exhibit “Dierks Bentley: Every Mile a Memory” on March 4th.

Between his commitments for the 10th season of The Voice, Shelton is headlining a winter tour that visits Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena March 4th and 5th. His new single, “Came Here to Forget,” will be released on March 8th.
