Why You Should Pay Attention: Harmony Tividad and Cleo Tucker of Girlpool make raw vulnerability sound strong. Together, the duo harmonize all their songs over just an electric guitar and bass, making for some vaguely Hank Williams-tinged power pop. Both bratty and haunting, the duo sing lyrics like "Eat me out to American Beauty" with as much conviction as "Do you get restless when you realize you're alive?"
