Why Go: Headlining this year's Forecastle fest is Louisville's very own My Morning Jacket, who will hold down Saturday night while Sam Smith and Widespread Panic lead Friday and Sunday. Now in it's 30th year, the rock-leaning weekend celebrates local artists and big names in the Kentucky city's 85-acre Waterfront Park. If you're a drinker, be sure to check out the Forecastle Bourbon Lodge to sample another hometown favorite.
