The final trailer for Disney's live-action take on Beauty and the Beast previews Ariana Grande and John Legend's take on the song "Beauty and the Beast," originally sung by Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson for the 1991 Disney animated film.
The trailer follows the small life of the story's central character Belle, portrayed by Emma Watson. After her father is captured by the Beast, she sacrifices her freedom for his safety and becomes a prisoner in the enchanted castle. The star-studded cast includes Dan Stevens as the Beast, Ewan McGregor as Lumière, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, Stanley Tucci as Cadenza, Kevin Kline as Maurice, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette and Audra McDonald as Madame de Garderobe.
Grande and Legend's take on "Beauty and the Beast" is not the only pop contribution to the film and its soundtrack. Celine Dion will contribute a new, original song titled "How Does a Moment Last Forever." Josh Groban will sing the track "Evermore." Along with the original music composed by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman for the 1991 cartoon, Menken and Tim Rice have also created new tunes for the new musical.
Beauty and the Beast will be in theaters on March 17th.
