Weekend Rock Question: What’s the Best Action Movie of All Time?

Cast your vote in our weekly poll

Bruce Willis

Bruce Willis in 'Die Hard.'

20th Century Fox

Taken 3 hits theaters this weekend and it’s tracking surprisingly well despite extremely negative reviews and a general sense of fatigue with the franchise. Unlike the previous two films, it doesn’t take place in a foreign country and nobody gets kidnapped. This time around, Liam Neeson is on the run from authorities who believe he killed his wife. Just try to imagine an inferior version of The Fugitive.

Now we have a question for you: What is the best action movie of all time? Feel free to go for a classic like North by Northwest or The French Connection, a 1980s flick like Die Hard or First Blood or something more recent like The Bourne Identity. We’re open to all sorts of subgenres, so an action sci-fi, an action horror or even an action comedy is fine. If you’re voting for something from a franchise like James Bond or Die Hard, please specify which exact film you’re selecting. Also, please only vote a single time and only for a single movie.
