Jason Bourne is back, and he remembers everything. The thrilling trailer for Jason Bourne, out this July, sees star Matt Damon returning to the series after last appearing in The Bourne Ultimatum in 2007 and being absent from 2012's The Bourne Legacy, which starred Jeremy Renner as a new character.
For the fifth installment of the Bourne series, the CIA assassin picks up several years after Ultimatum and must pick up the pieces of his life. Upon returning, there is a looming threat of a hacker "worse than Snowden" while the CIA director, played by Tommy Lee Jones, attempts to console the assassin by explaining to him that "people are safer" because of his body count.
Julia Stiles returns as Nicky Parsons in the film; the actress had also been absent from the Renner-helmed installment. Ex Machina's Alicia Vikander, Black Swan's Vincent Cassel and Vinyl's Ato Essandoh will also star in Jason Bourne, which will hit theatres on July 29th.
