That's right. The whole gang – Renton, Sickboy, Spud, Begbie, even Diane – return for this 21-years-later sequel, and we get to see what the poster kids for Nineties nihilistic-cool (U.K. division) have been up to for the past two decades. The fact that director Danny Boyle and the original cast reunited to do this adaptation of Irvine Welsh's sequel-novel Porno suggests that it's a real passion project; the melancholy feel of the trailer hints that this won't just be another nostalgia trip, even if the original's gallows humor, stylistic brio and adrenaline-rush pacing is in full effect.
