'Call Me By Your Name'

Italian filmmaker Luca Guadagnino returns with a coming-of-age story involving a teenage boy (Timothée Chalamet), a visiting American (Armie Hammer), lots of ancient Greco-Roman artifacts, a bearded Michael Stuhlbarg and the sort of postcard-worthy mediterranean scenery that inspires Pavlovian drooling. If anyone can turn a typical that-was-the-summer-that-changed-my-life movie into something magical and sensual, it's Guadagnino – if you've seen I Am Love and A Bigger Splash, you know the man has a Midas touch when it comes to these sort of hot and heavy amore stories.
