Fallout: Revelation, based on the post-apocalyptic RPG series from Bethesda, has been nominated for a SXSW 2017 Gaming Award in the category of Fan Creation of the Year. All three parts of the pilot are now available to watch, and damn, this is some quality fan fiction.

The web series follows vault dweller Aldous Mercury (played by Charles Curtis Sanders) who has to leave his sheltered experience to face the dangers of the wasteland, complete with the Enclave and the Institute.

"If you guys are like us you're really excited about the game, you play the game, and then it's over and you don't have anything anymore," says director Jesse Negron. "What we want to do with this series is make it where you can continue to live in the Fallout universe."

To fund a second episode and hopefully a full series team has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise the money, asking for $150,000 to finance episode two. If they can raise $750,000 that will pay for four more episodes.
