Silicon Valley's Kumail Nanjiani – whose recent indie romantic comedy The Big Sick is based on his own personal life story – voices the slightly insecure Orc warrior the Agonizer in the upcoming Middle-earth: Shadow of War. But you don't really get a sense for the character until you hear him in action.
Fortunately for everyone, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today released a fun video showing Nanjiani doing a little voice-capture work for the character and discussing his own internal struggle over whether he'll slaughter the Orc when he comes across him in the game.
Of the many smack-talking Orcs I've come across in the Nemesis-powered Middle-earth series, the Agonizer is easily my favorite ... but I'll still bash his head in the second I see him.
Set between the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, Middle-Earth: Shadow of War is an open-world action role-playing game that continues the story of Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor.
Middle-earth: Shadow of War hits Xbox One X, Xbox One, Windows 10 PC (Windows Store and Steam), PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro beginning October 10th.
