QuakeCon returns to Grapevine, Texas this summer, reintroducing panels and presentations to North America's largest bring-your-own-computer LAN party. The id Software-centric event runs August 9th through August 12th, organizers announced today.
The event will take place at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center just outside of Dallas, Texas. Room reservations for the event opened today. The show itself is free for general attendees and open to the public.
"This year’s event will offer diverse activities for all, including those who choose not to bring their own computer," according to organizers. "Attendees are some of the first to see sneak peeks of Bethesda’s upcoming titles and announcements, while also attending a wide array of panels, presentations, tournaments, workshops and exhibits from leading tech companies showcasing the newest gaming accessories and hardware."
No details have been released yet on what those presentations and panels will entail nor on what Bethesda has in store for attendees in the way of announcements.
