Grand Theft Auto Online's next update celebrates tax season by giving players "massive" bonuses and rebates, Rockstar announced today.
Starting today, and running until February 26th, anyone who simply logs onto Grand Theft Auto Online will receive $250,000 of in-game money. Additionally, during that time, for every dollar spent in the game, players will get a 10-percent rebate. If done right, Rockstar says, players can receive upwards of $1 million in cash back.
"Bonuses and cash back rebates will be awarded starting on February 27th
and will arrive in player’s Maze Bank accounts between February 27th and
March 6th," the developer said in a press release.
Grand Theft Auto Online is the multiplayer component of Grand Theft Auto 5, originally released on September 17th, 2013. The game gone on to sell 90 million copies, making it the third best-selling game of all time.
