Excalibur: Morgana's Revenge

A first-person shooter isn't the obvious match for a fantasy epic, but that's where Excalibur: Morgana's Revenge took it. The protagonist is your standard futuristic space marine because this is a corridor shooter from the 1990s and that was pretty much their thing. The twist is that the artificial intelligence he works for is actually Merlin, who has been thrown forward in time by Morgana – the sorceress has also traveled through time and is now masterminding space pirate attacks. So begins an adventure across the eras in which you swing swords and shoot guns from the 23rd century and from Camelot to the Jurassic era, because at that point why not throw dinosaurs in as well?
