Sucker Punch Talks 'Ghosts of Tsushima' Inspiration
Open-world action game Ghosts of Tsushima is a bit of a departure for developer Sucker Punch. It's set in feudal Japan, and the team said during a PSX panel it wanted to make sure the trailer's "representation is respective to the Japanese culture," IGN reports. Creative director Nate Fox said the team wanted to try something different from its Infamous franchise. "It's creatively satisfying to be freaked out," he said.
"This was definitely a risk, but one that was so worth taking because we get to write a love letter to one of our favorite genres," added animation director Billy Harper.
