Four new PlayStation VR games were unveiled during the annual ChinaJoy expo in Shanghai earlier this month, according to the official PlayStation Blog
The games, all created by developers based in Asia, include an interesting mix of real-time strategy, horror and action.
This game has players taking on the role of a character who can only see the environment around them by making noise using the PSVR's built-in microphone.
Using echolocation reveals the players surroundings, but also can alert enemies, so you have to use the ability strategically.
In The Walker, developed by Haymaker, players use a mix of swordsmanship and sorcery to battle an invading demonic militia.
"You’ll need to uncover and master spells and charms to defeat these invaders, and infuse weapons with special powers," according to the blog description. "Set in historic Shanghai, the unique sights and sounds will envelop you as you battle between sweeping boss showdowns."
VIVA Games Kill X drops players onto a secret island where they're working to uncover horrifying experiments on human subjects by an organization determined to realize immortality.
"As you veer between the past, present and future of these experiments and their after-effects, you’ll battle through swarms of the island’s unfortunate inhabitants," according to the blog. "There are puzzles to be cracked and ever-more powerful weaponry to be found as you dig deeper into this heart-stopping mystery."
In this real-time strategy game from ChangYou Games, you’ll select a commander and build an army. Once in battle, you can also use special cards to cast spells. The game features Orcs, Humans and Elves.
