Washington Police Looking For Person Who Killed 'Pokemon Go' Player
The Pokemon Go community is mourning the loss of one of its own. Police in Tacoma, Wash. say 45-year-old James Timmons was shot and killed Saturday, November 4th near S. 66th Street and S. Tyler Street. Timmons spent a lot of his free time walking the neighborhood playing Pokémon Go, according to Q13 Fox.
"If he saw that legendary Pokémon pop up or a Pokémon two blocks down, he was out the house with his backpack and his coat on to go get that Pokémon,” said Timmons' roommate, Rhonda Stinson.
"We don't have any information on why anybody would do this to him. We're looking for anybody who was out, who saw something, who heard something,” said Tacoma Police Officer Loretta Cool.
