Chinese 'PUBG' Mobile Games Enter Early Access

After getting the rights to publish PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds in China, Tencent has released two PUBG mobile games in early access, IGN reports.

According to industry analyst Daniel Ahmad, the first game, PUBG: Army Attack, focuses solely on land, air and sea battles. The game was developed in-house by Tencent. The second, PUBG: Exhilarating Battlefield, developed by Lightspeed and Quantum Studio, is the traditional set up of Battlegrounds, but in the palm of your hand.

Before release, Ahmad added, the two games had 75 million pre-registrations. Now that both are out, they're on top of Chinese iOS download charts.

It's unclear whether or not the two games  – or any official Battlegrounds mobile game, for that matter – will be released outside of China.
