New Switch Update Quietly Adds Wireless Headset Support
The Nintendo Switch just got a system update that adds video capture, save data transfers, and pre-loading for certain digital purchases. It also quietly got wireless headset support, Polygon reports. But, there's a caveat – it only works over USB (sorry, Bluetooth fans). Just plug the headset receiver into a USB port on the Switch dock and it should detect it. Polygon tested it with a Steelseries Siberia 800. Some redditors claim it works with Turtle Beach devices. I tested it myself with a Sony Gold. Now, my family won't have to hear the million "woohoos" as I play Super Mario Odyssey next weekend. Sweet!
