'Destiny 2's' First Iron Banner Event and Prestige Raid Difficulty Announced
Heads up, Guardians. Destiny 2 gets its first Iron Banner event next week. It begins October 10th at 2 a.m. Pacific and runs until October 17th. Unlike previous events, combat will be between two teams of four players and fighting ability, not power level, will decide the outcome, Bungie explains. Anyone who wants to participate must first complete the Destiny 2 campaign, then visit Lord Saladin in the Tower. Participants will earn Iron Banner Tokens and some lovely Iron Banner-specific armor.
If PvP isn't your thing, a new Prestige Raid begins Tuesday at 10 a.m. Pacific. Bungie says it doesn't expect everyone to be successful at completing this event. "The Prestige Raid is about mastering a more punishing sandbox. Our goal is not to provide a boon to your character progression, but there are unique rewards to help you shine. Consider this your invitation to prove to the world that you are among the very best of the Raiders who overlook the City."
"World First will be counted. We can tell you no more."
