Report: 'Anthem' Delayed to 2019
BioWare's multiplayer game Anthem won't come out until early 2019, according to a report on Kotaku. Its original Fall 2018 window was "never realistic," a source tells writer Jason Schreier.
Sources also say the studio is going all-in on the ambitious game. Many BioWare staffers are now reportedly working on Anthem, including Mark Darrah, executive producer of the Dragon Age franchise. He tweeted he wasn't working on it last June.

I’m here showing Anthem internally to EA. I am EP of BOTH DA and Anthem working with @Bio_Warner as Game Director
Anthem’s up next but there are people hard at work on both franchises and I look forward to sharing more in the future
A lot is apparently riding on Anthem's success, especially after the disappointing Mass Effect: Andromeda. If Anthem fails to live up to publisher EA's expectations, developers tell Kotaku BioWare's future will look very different in the future.
