‘Rainbow Six Siege’ hits 20 million registered players

While PUBG might be dominating the current online gaming zeitgeist, Rainbow Six Siege has quietly amassed 20 million registered players. Publisher Ubisoft celebrated the milestone on Friday. More than 2.3 million players are signing on every day, making Siege “a shooter that is here to stay,” says Product Director Nicolas Lefebvre. Ubisoft credits something called “Operation Health” for the game’s growing success. It’s an initiative the devs began to improve the Siege experience through fixes, upgrades, and fresh content. The team is currently working on new servers to help improve match stability and new content for the game’s third season.
