Bluehole Addresses Recent 'PUBG' Server Issues
If you're one of the 10+ million people who play PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, you've probably noticed some server issues lately. Developer Bluehole addressed the problems in a blog post yesterday. It's become increasingly difficult to manage servers during peak times, the team says, and it apologized to players for the long wait times.
"Our development team has been continuously upgrading the service architecture to address the increasing concurrent player numbers and tackle any emerging issues," the team writes. "Despite our daily efforts, there were some unexpected issues during peak times and we were unable to resolve some of the issues as fast as we would have wanted to."
Going forward, Bluehole says it will prepare servers far more in advance so they can handle a much larger number of concurrent players.
