The Xbox One is Getting a 'Do-Not-Disturb' Feature
Sometimes, you don't want to be sociable while playing a game. Microsoft understands this, which is why it's adding a "Do-Not-Disturb" feature to the Xbox One console. Setting this as your online status will suppress notifications and let your gaming buddies know you're not available. The feature is part of the latest Xbox One system update, which began rolling out to Xbox Insiders enrolled in the Alpha ring yesterday. The update also adds mini game hubs to the guide, scheduled day and night dashboard themes, and additional inactivity shutdown options for the power mode and startup menu.
