New Info on 'Xenoblade Chronicles 2' DLC, 'Zelda' Cross Promotion
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is getting an expansion pass and an interesting tie-in with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Nintendo revealed in a special Direct video presentation today. To help familiarize fans with Xenoblade main character Rex before launch, Breath of the Wild owners are getting a new side quest in a free update on both Switch and Wii U. Starting November 9th, players who complete the quest can get a Rex costume in-game. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 owners will also get Day One DLC that allows them to play the game with Japanese audio and English subtitles. The Expansion Pass, meanwhile, costs $29.99 and includes new quests, support items, and a challenging Battle Mode. It will also include an additional adventure with a new side story. Nintendo says details about individual elements of the Expansion Pass will be released in the future. If you missed the Direct, you can watch it in the above video.
