'PUBG' Finally Has Emotes, Friends List on PC

Emotes and friends lists are staples in most online PC games these days, and they're finally a part of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. The game got a new patch today adding the features. Players can now add up to 50 people to their friends list. People with PUBG accounts can search and add friends freely regardless of what platform they're on. The list is separate from the Steam friends list; you don't have to be friends on one to be friends on the other. PUBG Corp says the list is "a one-way follower concept, not a mutual acceptance between players."

Meanwhile, the new emote system adds 12 default animations, with more promised in the future. Players can activate them by holding down the emote menu key (~ by default) and left-clicking the emote.
