Unlocking PlayStation Trophies Could Now Earn You a Little Cash
If you're a member of the Sony Rewards program, you can now trade in PlayStation trophies for PSN store credit, according to Kotaku. A new section of the Rewards Passes page reportedly appeared last week listing silver, gold, and platinum trophies as milestones you can reach to earn points. Those points can then be turned in for PSN credit. One hundred silver trophies nets you 100 points, 25 gold trophies gets you 250 points, and 10 platinum ones nab you 1,000 points. And 1,000 points can be traded in for a $10 PSN Store code. As usual, there are some caveats to this deal: it's currently only available in the U.S. and you have to link your PlayStation account to your Sony Rewards account before earning the trophies, so all of your past accomplishments don't count.
