Players Fired 359 Million Arrows in 'Horizon Zero Dawn's' First Year
Guerilla Games' open-world action-RPG Horizon Zero Dawn recently turned one year old. To celebrate, the studio is looking back at how people played the game in the past year. While Horizon is a single-player game, Killzone Community editor Victor Zuylen says it uses online connectivity to log certain metrics for bug tracking and analytical purposes.
"In aggregate, these metrics paint a fascinating picture of the way Aloy’s story is experienced by players – from their favorite weapons to the choices they make in life-or-death situations," he writes on the PlayStation Blog.
According to Guerilla Games' infographic, players fired 395 million arrows in Horizon Zero Dawn throughout the year. They also hunted over 20 million sawtooths, collection 194 billion shards, and overwhelmingly chose to spare Olin.
