'Jurassic World Alive' is Like 'Pokémon Go' For Science Nerds
Stop chasing that Tyrantrum in Pokémon Go and get ready to hunt the real thing. Universal Studios and mobile game developer Ludia are creating a Jurassic World augmented reality app that lets you track down dinosaurs in the real world.
Jurassic World Alive is the first mobile game in the franchise to use AR and location-based technology. It lets players collect DNA from a variety of dinosaurs, grow them in incubators, and compete in player-versus-player arena battles. The game launches globally on the App Store and on Google Play sometime this spring.
